The timeline spans approximately 12 months to allow teams sufficient time to design and develop strong projects, with most project development occurring from September 2026-April 2027. Following the design/development over three New Project Development phases, we recommend that your R&D team transition to a project deployment team. Historically, the most successful Enactus initiatives take multiple years to mature, and this schedule reflects that reality.

PRE-PHASES TIMELINE

Post-Nationals 2026 – September 1, 2027 

Begin assembling or hiring your New Project Design Team (this will be your new Enactus project development team). Teams should comprise of 4-7 people with one communications and one coordination person. 

Pre-Phase Survey. The first survey will be open September 1, 2026 and must be completed by September 15, 2026.

PHASE 1 IDEATION TIMELINE

Phase 1 Ideation. The ideation self-paced micro-learning modules are open from September 16, 2026 – October 30, 2026 (31 workdays).

Phase 1 Survey Period. The second survey will be open on November 2 and must be completed by September 6, 2026 (5 workdays).

PHASE 2 EXPERIMENTATION TIMELINE

Phase 2 Experimentation. The experimentation self-paced micro-learning modules are open from November 21, 2027 to February 15, 2027 (26 workdays **not including December**).

Phase 2 Survey Period. The third survey will be open from February 16, 2027 – February 20, 2027 (5 workdays).

PHASE 3 IMPLEMENTATION TIMELINE

Phase 3 Implementation. The implementation self-paced micro-learning modules are open from  February 21, 2027 – March 24, 2027 (24 workdays).

 Phase 3 Survey Period. The fourth survey will be open from March 29 1, 2027-April 2, 2027 (5 workdays).

POST-PHASES TIMELINE

Post-Phase Survey. The fifth survey will be open from May 1, 2027 – May 15, 2027 6. 

Post Nationals 2027 - Hire a project team between June – August 2027, and prepare to deploy your project starting September 2027.
