Enactify™ (“Enactify,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who use the Enactify self-paced micro-learning platform (“Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

It applies to learners, instructors, institutional users, and visitors.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

• provide and operate the Platform;

• enable instructor or institutional oversight (where applicable);

4. Institutional and Program Use

Where Enactify is used through a university, nonprofit, or program:

• instructors or program leaders may view learner activity and progress;
• participation data may be used for course or program administration;
• institutions may receive aggregated or individual learner reports.

Institutions are responsible for informing their users about program requirements and institutional policies.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• maintain login sessions;
• remember user preferences;
• analyze platform usage patterns;
• improve performance and functionality.

Users may adjust browser settings to refuse cookies; however, some Platform features may not function properly.

6. Research and Learning Analytics

Enactify is an educationally informed platform and may analyze learning interaction data to:

• evaluate instructional effectiveness;

• study educational outcomes;
• produce aggregated research findings.

Where research involves identifiable personal information and requires consent under institutional ethics policies, separate consent procedures will be provided.

Use of the Platform does not automatically enroll users in research participation where explicit consent is required.

Service providers are required to protect personal information and use it only for authorized purposes.

9. Data Storage and Location

Personal information may be stored on secure servers in Canada or other jurisdictions where service providers operate.

Where data is stored outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

We take reasonable contractual and technical steps to ensure comparable protection.

10. Security Safeguards

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to sensitivity, including:

• encryption of credentials and secure connections
• access controls and authentication
• role-based permissions
• secure hosting environments
• monitoring and logging

No system can guarantee absolute security; users share responsibility for safeguarding credentials.

Learning records may be retained while accounts remain active or as required by institutional agreements.
